In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
