Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
